Today, went to Jeembo's Garage in Kajang to check the air conditioning system of Rolla. My early assumption after visiting few air-cond shop was the cooling coil. Which is inside the dash. I know air-cond prob usually gonna cost a bomb to fix it especially when it comes to the compressor, blower and what not. I also bought a used cooling coil from a friend and was hoping that's the only thing I need to replace.
Arrived, and I was greeted with JMG's new car; just arrived yesterday, the AE86 Trueno. Been told that the car had been inside a warehouse for a long long long long time. I'll get to it later.
Anyway, after Rolla was checked, found out that the problem is the condenser, not the cooling coil. The condenser had been smashed by a medium size rock, thus leaking out the gas. Relieved, I guess I just need a new/used condenser to solve my problem BUT since today is Chinese New Year, all shops were closed, so have to find it from my friends. Hopefully can get it before Friday.
Also asked them to fit in a rubber spoiler taken out of Din's car. Been wanting this spoiler for a long time too. Finally got it. Thanks to Hashim for selling it at me. Time to drill some holes after marking it.
Also while waiting, its time to do the project I had been delaying; the filter for the four-throttle.

Update Progress = AE86 Fuel Tank into a KE70.
Okay so here's some progress today after Din drop by and swap me with his analog float:
The top one is digital float. And the bottom one is analog float.
Another shot between both of em. Note that the blue cover is digital type.
And here's comparison between the original KE70 float on the left and AE86 analog float on the right.
Head cover comparison.
And here's some basic color guide for the socket. The bottom one is white/black color, right side is red/yellow, and the left one is blue/yellow. And now, my fuel gauge is working. Everything settled.
And close encounter.. Almost. Almost. Luckily didn't hit Dad's car.

Rolla's 1st Sideways..
Was suppose to relax at home today. Haven't got a day to rest this few weeks. Huargh. So, Din Longchamp called me today and asked me to join him for some sideways fun at Shah Alam. Not interested to join till he said he got some 15' tyres for me. Huargh. 4 pieces of em some more. Thanks man!
So, we waited at the Batu Tiga petrol station and the last person to arrive is Mr. Tanabe with his AE86 Tofuu! The same car that I had a chance to sit few days ago.

And again, Din bought a set of Longchamp again! This time more offset and hippari style. Looks uber cool!

We arrived at the local drift spot. People called it Extreme Park of Shah Alam I think.. Local group called the Budget Drifter usually came to practice here. They were super friendly too.

And thanks to the Mr. Tanabe for giving me a chance to drift with his Tofuu AE86. Totally different handling feeling and raw power from the 4AGE. Love it!

And officially, Rolla had been drifted. The power is there, but I need more improvement when handling the car. Still didn't familiar with the characteristic of Rolla. But I think Din's Rolla's handling is much better when I tested it at MAEPS the other day.

One of the member of Budget Drifter told me that the Advan Oni is up for sale. I don't have any intention of buying it, but after the owner told me the price (Good one lah..), and they even try to fit it in. Looks good with the fender, so.. after thinking for awhile, I took the rims along with one inch spacer too.

So, here's the spacer. Japan made and 1 inch thick. Thinking of putting it on front rims so that I get more angle and wider stance.

Oh, here's some lame video of mine when testing the track. My lil brother recorded it. Sounds like he's having fun inside. Ignore the laughing and what not. Hehehe.
